What today is called GRUPO TANGO is the corporate conformation stemming from the birth of the Tango Rally Team, that dream of friends once conceived by David Nalbandian and Marcos Ligato in the Province of Cordoba. This has turned into reality, taking a significant share in the car racing sport in Argentina, with international projections.
Nestled in Rio Ceballos, just seven minutes from the International Airport of the city of Cordoba, and having the driver/entrepreneur Marcos Ligato as its CEO, the GRUPO TANGO became a significant company with different business units, with national projection.
Today, the GRUPO TANGO encompasses all the activities of the TANGO Rally Team, the leader organization in the Campeonato Argentino de Rally (Argentine Rally Championship), the TANGO Competición, a Touring Car Racing team, one of the flagship car racing categories in Argentina, and the TANGO Automecánica, a service division strategically located in the city of Cordoba.
